Dagmar Davidson

Clinical Director

Dagmar, who is originally from London, qualified at University College London in 1990 and has worked at Prime Dental for over 15 years. She is proud to have become our clinical director and her mission is to change your perspective of dental care.

Dagmar enjoys treating patients of all ages and the challenge of providing a variety of different dental treatments. Her interests include crown and bridge work, cosmetic dentistry and tooth whitening.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Suzanne Barnett

Dentist

Suzanne studied dentistry at University College Hospital London, achieving honours and distinction in paediatrics and orthodontics. She has a passion for dentistry and puts even the most anxious patients at ease.

Suzanne has worked at Prime Dental for more than 25 years undertaking a wide range of general dentistry including aesthetics, inlays, crowns and whitening. During covid Suzanne was a volunteer vaccinator for the NHS.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and exercise.

Farah Jessa

Dentist

Farah joined Prime Dental in 2012 and enjoys all aspects of patient care from cosmetic dentistry to working with anxious patients. She provides high quality dentistry for all age groups including composite fillings, extractions, crowns and onlays, veneers and dentures.

Farah particularly enjoys the use of composite in minimally invasive procedures, such as tooth whitening and bonding. She is trained in Sleepwell, a custom-made anti-snoring device and provides facial aesthetics including injectable, wrinkle softening treatments and dermal fillers.

Farah qualified from United Medical and Dental School at Guys Hospital, London in 1999 with honours. Since then she has completed numerous postgraduate courses, including the one-year certificate of Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute and the Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioner at the Royal College of Surgeons England ( MFGDP).

She works part time as a Specialty Clinical Teacher in the department of Sedation and Special Care Dentistry at Guys Hospital teaching undergraduates and also treats patients with dental phobias with inhalation and intravenous sedation. Farah is also an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons LDS exam.

Farah regularly attends courses to keep her skills up to date and uses the latest digital technology in her daily practice. She often collaborates with specialists within our team to ensure her patients benefit from multidisciplinary care.

Simon Blank

Dentist

Simon is a general and cosmetic dentist who has gained experience in Manchester and London.

Since graduating from Birmingham in 2015 Simon been dedicated to furthering his skills with training in the latest restorative and cosmetic dentistry techniques.

He has completed a year-long advanced restorative course and is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Simon has a keen interest in Invisalign, cosmetic bonding and veneers. He uses leading technology in digital dentistry to achieve stunning, predictable and long-lasting results.

Outside of work Simon enjoys keeping fit at the gym, football and travelling.

Amir Hussain

Dentist

Amir is a general dentist with a passion for cosmetic dentistry. Graduating in 2016 from Queen Mary University of London, he has since committed to furthering his skills and has had extensive training in the latest restorative and cosmetic dentistry techniques.

He has completed a certificate in restorative dentistry with the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute and is on track to obtain a master’s degree in restorative dentistry.

Amir provides all aspects of general dentistry including Invisalign, composite bonding, crowns, veneers and dentures.

In his spare time he remains active with the gym and regularly plays sport alongside travelling.

Ian Arad

Specialist in Orthodontics

Ian is a passionate orthodontist and prides himself on providing excellent orthodontic treatment and personalised care. He is meticulous in his approach to treatment and works hard to give patients their desired outcome.

Ian was inspired to become an orthodontist, because of the way in which the craft and skill involved can transform lives. He firmly believes that it is not just people’s smiles that are enhanced, but also their confidence and self-esteem. He feels very privileged to be able to make a difference and to be a part of the Prime Dental team.

Ian started his path into orthodontics with a biochemistry degree from Dundee University. He then studied dentistry at King’s College London where he was awarded three prizes, one of which included the prestigious Jelf Medal.

He honed his skills in dentistry by working in private practices and in hospitals treating complex multidisciplinary cases using the latest dental techniques and instruments. It was during this time that he was awarded his diploma in Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and published in orthodontic literature.

Having built up his skillset in general dentistry, Ian decided he wanted a new challenge, and as he had a keen interest in orthodontics, he entered specialist training at the Royal London Hospital and Southend Hospital NHS. During his three-year training, Ian gained a keen interest in oral health. This led him to form a research team comparing the effectiveness of manual versus electric tooth brushing in orthodontic patients, which had the prestigious honour of being sponsored by Colgate. Ian was also awarded his Master’s Degree in Clinical Dentistry and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

While progressing on his career pathway, Ian has also managed to enjoy a wide range of other activities. His sporting pursuits include football, fencing and golf. He takes great delight in trying new restaurants and enjoys jetting off to different countries to enjoy their cuisine and culture.

Alessia D’Onofrio

Specialist in Periodontics

Alessia graduated in dentistry at the University Cattolica of Rome in Italy in 2011. After a few years working as a general dentist, she moved to the UK to start her research studies, which led to the award of a PhD in Dental Biomaterials in 2019.

In 2018 Alessia was appointed as Teaching Fellow in Dental Materials at QMUL (London) and then as NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow/Specialty Registrar in Periodontology at the Barts and the Royal London Hospital, where she completed her specialty training in periodontics. She successfully passed the examination in 2021 and was awarded the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Alessia is currently a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the College of Medicine and Dentistry in Birmingham, where she supervises the clinical activity for the Master in Periodontology.
In her clinical practice, she focuses on treating patients who suffer from gum disease, peri-implant disease and patients who require gum contouring and gum/bone grafting.

Marta Suarez

Marta obtained her degree in dentistry from the international Univesity of Catalonia in Barcelona in 2005. In 2007, she also completed an MSc in Endodontics after two years post-graduate study in Barcelona.
Marta concentrates her skills purely in endodontics, root canal treatment, and invests her time and education in this area, regularly attending and speaking at national and international congresses.

Marta has been accepting referrals from other dentists for many years and is well known and respected in London and the surrounding area.

Married with two children, Marta enjoys family life and is an excellent cook.

Allen Betsis

Implantologist and Oral Surgeon

Allen is a highly motivated dentist who is experienced in placing dental implants, bone grafting procedures, complex extractions and oral surgery. He completed his Dr Med Dent in Budapest, Hungary at Semmelweis University, followed by an MSc in Implantology and Dental Surgery in Münster, Germany (IMC). He then completed a Diploma in Conscious Sedation with a Distinction at King’s College London in 2020.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Allen has also lived in the USA, Netherlands and Russia. He speaks English, Russian, basic Hungarian and is currently learning Spanish.

In his downtime Allen enjoys travelling, playing the violin and painting.

Maria Hallihan

Dental therapist and dental hygienist

Maria began her dental career in 1992 when she trained as a dental nurse before deciding to study dental therapy and hygiene. She joined our Prime Dental hygiene team in 2008.

Maria enjoys all aspects of her role and she aims to provide a holistic approach to your dental hygiene experience. Her techniques are particularly effective for nervous patients or those with special needs.

As well as keeping up to date with the latest developments she is also currently studying to become a nutritionist.

Outside of work Maria is passionate about health and fitness, and loves cooking, gardening and traveling as much as possible.

Miriam Landau

Dental Hygienist

Miriam qualified as a dental nurse at King’s College Hospital in 1987 and worked at practices in the West End of London, then as a senior dental nurse in the emergency department of the UCH Hospital.

Miriam then qualified as a dental hygienist at King’s College Hospital in 1991. She lectured as a part-time tutor in dental hygiene at King’s College Hospital for 8 years as well as working in private practices. She joined Prime Dental in 2007.

Married with three children, Miriam enjoys cooking, baking, reading and keeping up with her continued professional development.

Elena Bedeac

Dental Hygienist

Elena started working for Prime Dental in May 2022. She trained as a dentist in Ukraine in 2015 and then relocated to the UK to work as a dental nurse whilst working towards her diploma to register as a qualified dental hygienist in the UK.

Outside of work, Elena likes visiting the gym, reading books and travelling.

Lulu Howard

Lulu originally joined Prime Dental as a receptionist in 2011 but decided to train as a dental nurse and went on to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2014.

Lulu qualified for her ILM Level 3 in Practice Management in 2018 and is delighted to be our practice manager.

She enjoys her time off with her family.

Carrie Hurst

Receptionist/Dental Nurse

Carrie started her career as a dental nurse in 1993 and qualified in 1997. She is a familiar face here having been with Prime Dental for 14 years.

Currently, Carrie is working on reception, but she still covers the surgery when needed.

In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and going on holiday.

Csilla Szasz

Csilla joined our practice in 2019 as a full-time receptionist. Csilla is a trained dental nurse and qualified for the dental nursing certificate NEBD in 2018. Csilla assesses trainee dental nurses in her spare time and enjoys keeping up with her personal development.

Outside work Csilla has a passion for running, walking and spending time with friends.

Cornelia Nichitean

Cornelia qualified in 2011 from Kensington Training Centre and has been working as a dental nurse for the last 14 years. She has been with us for 11 of those as a Head Nurse and loves the fact no two days are ever the same.

Cornelia completed her NEBDN diploma in dental implants and qualified as infection prevention control lead in 2018, these are some of her special dental interests.

Outside of work she enjoys traveling, photography, baking and exploring London.

Mihaela Vitca

Mihaela started her career as a dental nurse in 2007 and achieved the NEBDN national certificate in 2011. She is also a dental technician, having qualified in her native country of Romania in 1994.

Mihaela joined Prime Dental as a dental nurse in 2011 and especially enjoys assisting with orthodontic and cosmetic treatments. She qualified in Intravenous sedation nursing in 2021.

Outside of work Mihaela loves spending quality time with her family and reading as many books as she can.

Paulina Lucka

Nataliya Bogatchuk

Nataliya achieved her Level 3 diploma in dental nursing and qualified in January 2020. She enjoys nursing for complicated procedures and tries her best to make the patients feel comfortable. She has particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.

Maria Chetan

Maria qualified in 2018 from the Dental Nursing Academy completing her NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma. She is currently enrolled in a radiography course.

Her dental interests include assisting our dentists during cosmetic procedures such as composite bonding and Invisalign. She finds working as a dental nurse can be very rewarding, especially when her patients leave their appointments happy or have had an amazing smile transformation. Having lovely patients always helps!

In her spare time Maria loves cycling, spending time with her family and friends, coffee, a good book and exploring new places.
