How we treat you
We take accurate impressions of your teeth so tailor-made trays can be produced. You wear these at home with a special bleaching gel over a couple of weeks. We offer two home whitening options: the trays can either be worn while you sleep or for specified periods during the day.
If you can’t wait to sport a wonderfully whiter smile, we can also offer Zoom! in-surgery whitening. This uses a more powerful gel and a bright light to speed up the whitening process while you sit back and relax in the dentist’s chair.
What else you need to know
Whitening is not effective on dental restorations, such as crowns or veneers, and results will usually depend on the level of discoloration before the whitening process begins.
Although results are noticeable and smile-enhancing, they are not permanent. However, you can reuse your customized trays with some new tubes of gel if you need a little whitening boost.
You can have whiter teeth for longer by reducing your consumption of highly-colored food and drink, and not smoking.
